Strawberry/ mixed berry smoothie

This is a delicious treat I created one day! It took me only about 5 minutes, and it's so good.

1 bag of strawberries
1 bag of mixed berries
1 can of frozen fruit juice - mixed berry flavor
1 cup of strawberry yogurt

If you don't want mixed berries or you'd like to try another fruity taste, use any fruit, yogurt, or frozen juice to create your own smoothie.

Cinamellow Rolls

This is the my version of a cinnamon roll. Except for these ones are smaller, cuter, and more delicious!

1 10 count can of biscuits
about 1 tbs. cinnamon
about 5 or 6 tbs. brown sugar
1/3 stick of melted butter
5 marshmellows

Preheat oven to 350°. Cover a cookie sheet with tin foil, and put biscuits on sheet. Flaten it with the palm of your hand. Taking one biscuit at a time, spoon some butter onto the biscuit. Mix cinnamon and brown sugar together; spoon it onto the biscuits. Rip the marshmellows in half and place it on the biscuit. Roll them all up and pinch it to keep it closed. Bake for 9 to 11 min. or until lightly browned. Take it out and let it cool. If desired, make this cream cheese frosting below to go on top. I personally LOVE it with this frosting!

8oz. cream cheese
1/2 cup softened butter
1-2 tbs. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups sugar (depending on how sweet you want it)

Blend everything together. If not sweet enough, add more sugar!

Mocha Cooler

Add your favorite fruit, your favorite flavor of ice cream, and some milk to a blender. Ask an adult to blend until smooth. Now you have a sweet and tasty treat!

Fruit Splash

By: Josee Hutchinson
My favorite snack is a Fruit Splash Smoothie. I start with a mixture of fruits: such as strawberries and bananas. Then I add 1/2 cup of orange juice and 1 cup of vanilla yogurt. Ask an adult to mix the ingredients together in a blender. On a hot day, add some ice too.

Magic Cookie Bars

1/2 cup margerine or butter
1 1/2 cups graham cracker
1 (14 oz.) sweetend condensed milk

1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
1 1/3 cups flaked coconut

(optional) 1 cup chopped nuts

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In 13x9 baking pan, pour in melted butter and graham cracker crumbs. Mix well. Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over crumbs. Sprinkle chips, then coconut. If desired, add nuts; but I personally don't like nuts. Press down firmly. Bake 25 to 30 min. or until brown. Cool and cut into bars.

This is just the "basic" recipe. If you want, have some fun by replacing graham cracker with another kind of crumb. Or add a different flavor of chips to your recipe... just have a little fun with it!

Baked Apples with Cream

Ingredients:
1 tablespoon butter, divided
3 large baking apples
1/4 cup water
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/4 cup white granulated sugar
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
1 cup Half and Half

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Using part of the butter, spread butter on a 9x9 baking dish, then set aside.
Wash, core and slice apples into halves. Cut apple into thin slices (do not peel). Arrange apple halves in buttered dish, and slightly spread out (peel side up). Combine water and lemon juice, and pour over apples. Place little dots of butter on the apples. Stir together white sugar, brown sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon and nutmeg; sprinkle over apples. Cover dish and bake 40-55 minutes or until apples are tender. Take it out of the oven and let it partially cool off (keep it a little warm).

While still warm, pour Half and Half in small individual serving dishes. Carefully scoop half an apple and place in individual dish, drizzle apple with syrup from baking dish. If desired, sprinkle with additional brown sugar and cinnamon/nutmeg. Serve right after. Bon appetit! You now have this delicious recipe, which is also good with ice cream.
